Shield Coat Painting is a family-owned painting company based in South Phoenix, started by brothers Aedan and Brayan Rivas. We built it on one idea: restore the home first, then protect it.
Our story
More than painters.
Too many homes get a quick coat of paint over cracked stucco, rotted fascia and failing trim. It looks good for a season, then it doesn’t. We don’t work that way.
So we do it differently. We walk every home ourselves, repair what needs repairing, and use only premium Sherwin-Williams and Dunn-Edwards products. We don’t price by the square foot, because every home is different. We quote the whole job done right, in writing.
The rest is simple: show up on time, keep your home clean, tell you the truth about what your house needs, and stand behind the work.

We’re at this property out here in Buckeye, Arizona, doing two coats of Loxon primer with two coats of Duration Exterior, back-rolled. Look at that, beautiful. This is all just primer here, all around, color-matched so it blends in nice. Stucco patches and repairs taken care of. Ceiling re-taped, patched and primed, with primer up on top as well. Full home. You can actually see the difference: dated paint on that side, and brand new paint on the other, all around. These all got painted, got masked, and now a nice coat of enamel. Look how nice and full that looks. That’s what I’m talking about. Two coats of exterior Loxon primer, then Duration.
